Realise your singing potential in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment! Master the fundamentals of singing technique whilst developing an understanding of musical notation. Build your sight-reading skills and enjoy the opportunity to sing solo and with other class participants.

Course The Landmark Sound

A friendly, non-auditioned choir covering a wide range of non-classical music. An ability to read music at some level is useful. Male singers are particularly welcome. Term ends with an informal sharing for family and friends.

Class DanceAct: for adults with learning disabilities

If you enjoy acting, singing and dancing and would like to meet other people with the same interest, then come and join DanceAct. Led by 2 experienced tutors, everyone works together and has fun creating short performances which are staged for family and friends.

Course The Landmark Singers

Wednesdays

An established ensemble exploring a variety of styles and genres including pop, folk, jazz, classical, world and gospel music, suitable for singers able to read music or to hold a line confidently.

Existing members benefit from priority booking, so places are limited.

Term ends with a joint concert with an informal sharing for family and friends.

Course Drama for Adults

Workshop style sessions that offer a fun and supportive environment in which students can learn new acting and performance skills, or build on those they already have without the pressure of being in a production.

Workshop Come and Sing Fauré’s Requiem

Sunday 11 November 2018

10.30am – 4.30pm

To mark 100 years since the end of World War One, this special choral workshop culminates in an early evening performance on the same day as part of the Light Perpetual – Echoes of War event.

Open to any amateur singer who can read music, has sung it before, or can learn it by ear in advance. Singers taking part in the workshop must be able to take part in the evening performance too.

Travel Options

  • Train: Waterloo to Teddington (33 minutes), then just over 10 minutes' signposted walk
  • Bus: R68, 281, 285 all stop outside the Centre; 33 via Waldegrave Road
  • Tube: District line to Richmond and then bus R68
  • Cycle: on-site parking for up to 12 bicycles
  • Car: no parking on site but free parking in surrounding streets.

How to Book…

  • Online: where indicated.
  • In person or by phone: Box Office open Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 4pm (and from 1pm on the day of weekend performances). Telephone bookings (card only): 020 8977 7558.
  • By post: state the event and number of tickets required and enclose an SAE and cheque payable to ‘Landmark Arts Centre’ to our address.

Please note…

  • Booking fees: if you wish to have your tickets posted and haven’t supplied an SAE, a 60p postage fee applies.
  • Refund & Exchange Policy: no refund of tickets or class bookings will be made unless the event or class is full and we are able to re-sell your ticket/class place, in which case an admin fee of £1 will be deducted from the amount refunded.
