Visual Arts & Crafts
- The Landmark Visual Arts Classes are structured in modules ranging from 5-8 weeks. Core skills and a different project are taught in each module.
- Join our leisure classes at any time, just for an individual module or continuously throughout the year.

Adults' Classes Botanical Art – Drawing and Watercolour

Course Tutor: Marcia Hughes
Due to popular demand, Botanical Art courses with local artist Marcia Hughes now take place on a Monday as well as on a Wednesday evening.
An adult drawing and watercolour painting class, teaching the skills of accurate observation with an emphasis on nature. The course will allow you to depict flowers and foliage in a precise manner. All levels are welcome.

Adults' Classes Painting Made Easy
Wednesday, 2.00pm–4.30pm
Course Tutor: Ron Knott
This art class teaches how to paint with Acrylic colours. Different techniques, composition, textures and tones are explored, culminating in producing your own painting on canvas. All levels welcome.

Fun and experimental. Learn mono and relief printing techniques without using a press and focus on creative designs, colours, shapes and forms. All levels welcome.

New Zumba Classes

Latin and international music are fused to create an explosive workout. It's fun! Zumba is "Exercise in Disguise." It's different! The music, the steps, the moves, the class, the feel are all like no other class and designed for everyone of any fitness level or age!

Adults' Classes The Landmark Sound
Tuesday, 7.00pm–8.30pm
Starts: 14 September 2010 for 11 weeks
This choir is ideal for people who love to sing but can’t read music. Learn a wide range of songs including pop, gospel, world music and musical theatre, as well as basic breathing and vocal techniques.
Suitable for all ages from 14+ and men are particularly welcome. Early booking recommended as places are limited.
Performing is not the central purpose of the Sound, but the choir will be involved in a performance with the Landmark Singers, during the Landmark Festival of Song in November 2010.

Adults' Classes DanceAct – for adults with learning disabilities
Wednesday, 10.00am–1.00pm
If you enjoy acting, singing or dancing and would like to meet other people who share the same interest, then come and join DANCEACT. Led by 2 experienced tutors, everyone works hard and has lots of fun putting together a show twice a year which is staged for family and friends.

Adults' Classes The Landmark Singers
Wednesday, 7.45pm–9.15pm
Starts: 15 September 2010 for 11 weeks
An intermediate, non-classical, close harmony ensemble, covering jazz, blues, soul and gospel. Suitable for singers able to read music or hold a line confidently with men particularly welcome. The group does perform in public from time to time and will take part with the Landmark Sound, during the Landmark Festival of Song in November 2010.
Early booking recommended as places are limited. Male singers particularly welcome.
