Access to The Studio at The Landmark Arts Centre
The Studio is located on the first floor. Given the constraints of a old Grade 2* listed building it has not been possible to install a lift.
Access to the Studio is via two short flights of stairs, each step being 78cm/31 inches wide. There is a handrail on the left-hand side of each flight. The landing at the mid-point is not large enough to accommodate any seating. The bottom flight has 7 steps, and the top flight has 11 steps.
The toilets (including disabled access toilet) are located on the ground floor near the foot of the stairs.
In the event of an emergency, there is an EvacChair for easy assistance down the stairs for anyone less able to walk down.
