12yrs+: Songwriting & Production (2-day)

Music Classes

28-29 Aug, 10am-3pm

Open to secondary school students with some fundamental music experience in playing an instrument (Grade 3 or equivalent) or singing.

A 2-day course designed to immerse students in songwriting and production processes. Focusing on melody and lyric crafting, arrangement, performance and DIY recording. Students will finish the course having contributed to the composition and recording of their own song. This course will prioritise group activity, promoting collaboration and compromise in a musical setting.

Please note that the course’s length may be adjusted depending on the number of participants. The Landmark reserves the right to shorten the second day of the course if requested by the tutor.

Materials (provided to the students)
Keyboard, Piano, speakers, microphones

Instruments (including a small amplifier if possible when bringing an electric guitar)
