Open to all adults no experience required.

Join Sophie for a taster session of canvas work embroidery. During the session Sophie will teach you a number of different counted stitches which will be worked onto canvas. You will learn how to work a canvas design, how to start and finish the threads to create a little small design, perfect to turn into a pin cushion (to be finished outside of the class).

Materials provided:
A kit will be provided to each student, which will include: Wool, needles, instructions, coloured photo, canvas to work on.

Participants are asked to bring:
Tutor will have embroidery hoops and scissors to borrow or buy on the day, but if you have your own please do bring along.
