#PARTICIPATE: Valentine’s & Mothers’ Day Card and Gift Box Making

Open to all adults – no experience required. Part of the #PARTICIPATE FUSION W’End.

An introductory session to crafting with paper, perfect for Valentine’s Day & Mothers’ Day.  We are going to explore:

1) Card Making
Participants will be able to make 2 cards – an iris fold Valentine’s Card and a simple spring themed card, ideal for Mothers’ Day.
Iris folding is a simple (but addictive!) technique using strips of folded patterned & coloured papers to form intriguing patterns within a card aperture.

And

2) Gift box & bow
Participants will learn how to make a simple origami gift box and paper bow from decorative paper.

MATERIALS LIST
All materials will be provided. However, do feel free to bring along some wrapping paper / decorative paper of your own for the gift box if you prefer. Tools are available for use during the session.
