Introduction to Sun-printing: Cyanotype (1-day)

8 August: 10am-4pm
Open to all Adults – no experience required.
You will explore the original Victorian photographic process -sunprinting, distinctive for its Prussian blue colour. Learn the basic skills required to create your own bespoke cyanotype sunprints using the sun and also an Ultra Light Violet (UVL) Box.
Learn a new and exciting photographic technique that you can use at home. You will leave with your own prints from the course.
Core Skills
– Basic history linking to alternative photography
– Explore different techniques to develop your prints further
– Incorporating, salt, water colours to enhance your prints.
– Explore using teas to stain the prints.
Material / Equipment
Bring with you plant materials from your garden or other materials to use when you create your prints.
