SPARKLE: Fun Felted Christmas Tree Decoration

In this workshop you will learn how to make a 3D hollow Christmas decoration, big enough to put some sweets or a small gift in, but small enough to look great on your tree. You can choose to make either a round or cone shaped decoration, using Merino wool, silk and other fibres.

You will learn:
– how to handle and lay out wool fibres
– how use a plastic resist for 3D forms
– how wool and other fibres react during the wet felting process
– form shaping techniques

Materials
All materials will be supplied, but as this is a wet felting process you may wish to bring an apron and a small waterproof bag to take your work home in.
