Funky Felted Necklace

Open to all adults, no experience required.

In this workshop you will learn how to blend and wet felt wool fibres to create your own handmade felt bead necklace. You will also learn how to string and knot them onto cord so that you can take home a finished necklace.

Suitable for complete beginners and all materials provided.

• Selecting and blending wool fibres– wet felting and forming wool fibres into beads
• Simple necklace stringing techniques
• Ideas for simple embroidery to add to your beads at home

Materials
All wool fibres, necklace cord and embroidery thread to create at least one necklace are provided. Also provided is feltmaking equipment, including soap, bubble wrap etc. Students do not need to bring any materials, but may want to bring an apron.
