“Reinventing the brass band for the 21st century” – BBC Radio 6 Music

“One of the best live bands we have in this country” – BBC Radio 2

“An ingenious blend of showmanship and intelligence” – Sunday Times

After the stunning success of their critically-acclaimed  albums Sharpener and LIVE, London’s brass juggernauts Hackney Colliery Band blaze back onto the tour circuit.

With BBC Radio 2 describing them as “one of the best live bands we have in this country”, their live shows have become legendary, selling out venues across the UK and Europe, and playing main stage festival shows (Womad, Wilderness, Love Supreme, Field Day) to huge popular and critical acclaim.

Genre-defying and gloriously loud, this band blends brass, funk, hip-hop and jazz in a live show built to blow the roof off. A high-energy night for music fans who like it bold.

Forget everything you know about brass bands.

Toe-tapping, genre-busting and joyfully unorthodox, Hackney Colliery Band bring their riotous live show to Landmark for the very first time on 28 March.

This nine-piece East London collective have wowed crowds from the 2012 Olympics to festival stages worldwide with their explosive energy and musical daring. Now they present tracks from their hotly anticipated sixth album Collaborations: Volume Two—featuring brass fused with vocals, harp, cello and even conch shells.

Why You Should Come

  • Experience bold brass like never before: sweeping melodies, world rhythms, and genre-defying arrangements
  • Be among the first to hear new material from their latest album
  • Soak up the electric chemistry of a band 15 years in the making

What to Expect

🎺 A nine-piece line-up blending brass with harp, cello, and vocals

🎶 A night of infectious grooves, global sounds and creative flair

🎟️ Ideal for fans of brass, jazz, world music, and bold live performance
