3-day course: Mixed Media – Find your creative Voice [SAS22]

This course is designed to help beginners and improvers listen and trust their own intuition, turn off the noise of social media and self-doubt. Open up and just be creative. On our journey we will design and make lots of exciting images whilst exploring multimedia techniques such as mark making, printing, painting, collage and colour planning to create an A3 artwork.

MATERIALS LIST:

All materials will be provided, but do bring along a notebook, pen, photo reference ideas, magazine, book, cut-outs, printed paper scraps, doodles, drawings etc.

TUTOR:

Artist and designer Nicolene Grigg studied fashion and Textiles at Chelsea Art school. Her own creative journey has taken many different paths, originally as a knitwear designer for Whistles, high end freelance textile designer, mosaic artist, creative tutor and facilitator. Throughout her career she has always used mixed media techniques, collage and experimental work to create her artworks and help form her ideas for a particular piece or design.
