A taste of some thing special. One beautiful Sunday lunch concert perfect for Mother’s Day.
Music and food, an authentic, complete and nourishing experience. Alec Harper is one of Ronnie Scott’s most exciting performers, with a rich, expressive tone and a presence that fills any space without needing to shout.
Alec Harper has played to audiences across the UK and internationally, but this performance offers something distinctly different: the unplugged set is performed from a pop-up stage placed in the very heart of the venue. The close proximity means sound reaches every seat naturally, bringing the music close to everyone in the room.
Alongside the music, you’ll enjoy a chef-prepared two-course lunch, served at your table just feet from the musicians. Expect bold flavours, seasonal ingredients, and the kind of attention to detail that lets the food speak for itself. No fuss, no frills – just a perfect pairing of taste and tone.
Za’atar chicken, preserved lemon with tahini & maple glaze or Pear and Blue Cheese Tart served with;
Heritage tomato & pickled red onion salad with sherry vinegar dressing, roast baby potatoes with chive emulsion and burnt leeks and finished off with salted caramel brownie.
“Alec is undoubtedly one of the best of his generation. His sound’s been compared to legends like Joe Henderson and Eddie ‘Lockjaw’ Davis. We have a long history of lunchtime concerts, and this will be truly special.” – James Pearson, Artistic Director, Ronnie Scott’s
It’s the Landmark’s first ever jazz lunch, and it falls on Mother’s Day. Whether you’re treating your mum or giving yourself a reason to slow down and savour something special, this is an afternoon to remember.
