A romance themed cavalcade of words and music.
Is your love life passionate, starcrossed, tragic or comical? This Valentines Day sonnets and scenes bring to life the world’s most enduring emotion as seen by its most famous writer.
This unique event is created in partnership with GSA, one of the UK’s premier schools for acting and musical theatre.
With introduction and reading by Amanda Root – Royal Shakespeare Company credits include: Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet”, Hermia in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (1983), Jessica in “The Merchant of Venice”, Moth in “Love’s Labour’s Lost”, Lucy in “Today” by Robert Holman (1984), Lady Macbeth in “Macbeth”, Harriet in “The Man of Mode”, Angelica in “The Constant Couple”, Betty in “Some Americans Abroad” (1988), Cressida in “Troilus and Cressida”, Rosaline in “Love’s Labour’s Lost” and Nina in Chekhov’s “The Seagull” (1990)
