Wellbeing: Creative Writing Workshop – Intermediate

Wellbeing

Dates
6 weeks from 3 June 2024
3, 10, 17, 24 June
1, 8 July

Perfect for adults who have experience of sharing their writing with others or have completed the Introduction to Creative Writing course.

This friendly and supportive course is designed for anyone who has experience of sharing and critiquing their own and others’ creative writing. During each session students will share their writing with the rest of the group and fellow students will be invited to offer feedback and constructive comments.

Whether your writing project is large or small, each week we’ll take time to consider relevant craft issues such as planning and plotting, structure, language, point of view, making technical decisions and much more.

We’ll also talk about the business of finding an agent and the world of publishing for those wishing to take their writing to the next level.

  • Writing and critiquing each other’s creative writing
  • Examining aspects of the craft of writing when relevant
  • Looking at the business of publishing
