This course is perfect for adults who have completed the Writing FOR Children course.
Explore the craft of writing for all ages in a friendly and supportive environment.
An intermediate creative writing course run by children’s author, Lucy Hope, for those wishing to write for any age of readership (perhaps with a dream of one day being published) or for anyone keen to develop their knowledge and experience of writing creatively. Students will take part in writing exercises designed to flex their writing muscles and will be encouraged to try out new genres and experiment with different types of writing as the course progresses.
Each week, we’ll ‘workshop’ (read and critique) each other’s writing in a safe and supportive environment. In addition, we’ll also explore aspects of the craft of writing, such as exploring creativity, writing believable dialogue, developing characters, thinking how tropes can help guide our writing, and more!
