Develop your observational drawing skills through close study of plant forms. This two-day course introduces botanical illustration alongside an exploration of plant biology, encouraging participants to look closely at structure, texture and detail. Working from natural materials, you will build confidence in both quick sketches and more extended studies, supported by guided exercises and discussion. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, the course focuses on strengthening core artistic principles while developing a deeper understanding of the natural world.
