Class Overview

Open to all adults, with no experience required.

This relaxed crochet class is perfect for anyone looking to learn a timeless craft. You’ll start by mastering the classic granny square in a variety of colours or neutral tones. These charming squares can become coasters, cushions or the foundation for a beautiful heirloom blanket.

Over six weeks, you’ll work towards completing a small decorative blanket with a scalloped edge and tassels. Along the way, you’ll learn the basic crochet stitches and techniques needed to build confidence and continue with future crochet projects. Whether you’re brand new to crochet or returning to the craft, you’ll receive friendly, step-by-step guidance in a supportive group setting.

• Beginners’ chain stitches and tension

• Colour changes and harmonising

• Finishing off and adding edgings

• Joining squares together

• Sewing and finishing off your work
