Workshop Outline: Discover the craft of leatherworking in this hands on two hour workshop and create your own small leather purse to take home.
Perfect as an introduction to working with leather, you’ll learn a range of essential techniques as you bring your piece together. You’ll burnish the edges, set the hardware, prick holes ready for stitching and learn how to complete traditional saddle stitching.
You’ll also have the opportunity to emboss your initials or add personalisation, giving your finished purse a unique touch.
A great taster for complete beginners, this workshop offers the chance to try leatherworking, learn practical new skills and leave with something you’ve made yourself.
