Choir Overview
Landmark Sound is an energetic, non-auditioned choir for singers who want to explore new music, discover harmonies, connect with rhythm and groove, and have fun while doing it! We work primarily a cappella (without instruments), learning mostly by ear with lyric sheets and learning tracks, though scores are provided. All voice types are welcome, with a particular need for tenors and basses.

Choir Level

• Beginners (some basic knowledge)
• Intermediate Members (some experience and knowledge)

Choir Content

• Weekly rehearsals culminating in performances at the Landmark Arts Centre and other venues
• Develop skills in harmony, rhythm, and a cappella singing
• Opportunities to explore a range of vocal music genres

Choral Outcomes

• Develop inner pulse and rhythm
• Improve tonal memory and audiation skills
• Gain confidence with scores while learning by ear
• Enhance listening skills and group collaboration
• Rediscover or awaken your playful, creative self
