Notebook Bindings

This workshop is suitable for the absolute beginner. You will learn how to make 3 different book structures:

– a single section pamphlet with laminated cover

– an ‘explosion’ book

– a simple stab binding book

About the Tutor:

Gill Smith is a local printmaker, papercut artist and bookmaker who regularly exhibits and runs workshops here at The Landmark. She has an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL.

All materials to make the books will be provided. Specialist bookmaking tools are available for use during the workshop – but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
