Summer Music at the Landmark (EH)

A whole day of music making with experienced conductors. The repertoire on each day will be full of variety, including Classical, Light, Film and Dance music plus a surprise or two!

Summer Strings on Monday, August 22nd conducted by Martin Stuart and

Summer Concert Band on Wednesday, 24th August conducted by Rupert Bond.

Rupert Bond is a well-known conductor and composer now based in Kent. He regularly conducts a number of orchestras, including the Folkestone Symphony, Southwark Sinfonietta, European Doctors’ Orchestra (and is particularly excited to be conducting them in the Czech Republic this June), Kingston K3O, Wimbledon Community, Dulwich Symphony and the Surrey Philharmonic. His association with the Landmark’s Summer Music Programme began in 2017 and is greatly appreciated.

Martin Stuart is a very experienced conductor and teacher who was formerly Deputy Director of the Merton Music Foundation. He has conducted several ensembles in South-West London with both adult and young musicians and is now involved in a number of orchestras and ensembles in the Manchester area where he now lives. We are very pleased to welcome him back to conduct Summer Strings this year.
