Trash to Treasure Workshop – Families

Family sculpture class with local artist Louise Anderson – using discarded cabling, learn how to transform stripped back wires into satisfying sculptures. Part of Trash to Treasure Fest a community arts festival promoting the Recycle your Electricals campaign. Booking essential. Make a simple sculpture or picture using wire cables and recycled materials.

Cost: £10 –  1 adult & 1 child must book together as a pair

What you will learn: • How to draw a simple 2D design • How to turn a simple 2D drawing into a piece of wired art. • How to save items from landfill

Materials List: • Recycled electrical cables or wire that you no longer use. • Please be aware that children and young people will need to be supported when using tools.
