Open to all adults – no experience required.
A four-week course where you will explore the creative world of song writing and the wonderful relationship between text and music. During the course you will create your own words for a song or set a favourite poem to new music created by you! By the end of the block, you will perform your new creation supported by the tutor and other participants (if you want the work to be a group piece, your choice!).
All voices, genres and instruments very welcome!
Led by Ruth Evans, conductor of Landmark Sound community choir at Landmark Arts Centre. Ruth is Executive Producer at National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, a professional musician and a passionate commissioner of new music/arrangements (including nominations for Classic FM Music Teacher Award for educational resources and Ivor Novello Classical Awards for her commissions).
