The first-ever Teddington Beer Festival is set to open its doors for a three-day celebration of some of the best beers, ales and ciders in the UK. The festival runs from 3-5 November to raise funds for the Landmark Arts Centre, where the event is being held.

The festival will showcase some of the finest craft beers and ciders the country has to offer with over 60 cask ales and 15 varieties of cider from breweries as far afield as Nottingham to Sussex, Kent to the Midlands, as well as London. There will be a range of rich seasonal brews and refreshing hoppy ales. Award winners will be making an appearance including the European Beer Challenge 2021 Gold Winner and the Taste of Kent Beer of the Year.

Alongside the beers, visitors will be able to sample street food by Strawberry Hill based, Homemade Curries. Small batch spirits and cocktails will be supplied by local Kingston distillery, Bone Idyll. There will be live music across the sessions featuring local bands – The Deputies and The Alternators playing classic rock ‘n’ roll covers. Rock, pop band, GTA, and, BRIT School graduates, The Colossals, with their funk and soul set list.

Colin Newton, festival organiser, commented: “After many months of planning and support from our collaborators, we’re thrilled to bring the first-ever beer festival to Teddington. Holding it at the Landmark means we can offer a large range of beers, ales, ciders and gins, food and live music, providing a great festival experience for all. We’re expecting large numbers over the weekend and hope to raise lots of funds for the Landmark.”

Breweries attending are Bedlam; Billericay; Brentwood; Caveman; Cellarhead; Colchester; Crumbs; Elephant School; Farr Brew; Front Row; Goffs; Harwick; Heritage; Kelchner; Leather Britches; Milestone; Park; Portobello; Sambrook’s; Twickenham; Wantsum; Witham; Wimbledon.

Event sponsors include the multi-award-winning CAMRA pub of the year, The Masons Arms, Jawbone Brewing, Crumbs Brewery, Bedlam Brewery, Sambrook’s Brewery, Twickenham Brewery, The Anglers Pub, Wimbledon Brewery and Noble Green.

Tickets are available to buy at www.landmarkartscentre.org/shows/teddington-beer-festival-2022/ and include a souvenir glass, programme, first beer token and entertainment.
