Friday 17th May – The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie – Muriel Spark

At the staid Marcia Blaine School for Girls in Edinburgh, Miss Jean Brodie—teacher, mentor, and provocateur—selects six girls to be her “special set.” Miss Brodie’s unconventional teaching philosophy brings her into conflict with the school’s conservative administration and presents her “Brodie set” with a unique moral challenge that will shape their young lives in indelible ways.
