Richmond and Twickenham Photographic Society Annual Exhibition

A cornucopia of photographic images will be on show at the RTPS  annual exhibition. This annual event has always been a highlight of the Spring programme and the 2024 event will be no exception. On display will be a fascinating array of images ranging from portraiture to wildlife and from landscape to fine art so there’s sure be something for everyone.

The exhibition is open daily 10 am to 4pm

Admission: £4 on the door ( children free)

Creative Smartphone Photography
10.30-12noon Saturday 20 April
RTPS photographers Jocelyn Horsfall and Amanda Day will demonstrate how using a selection of Apps, you can make images with your mobile phone that are creative, expressive and artistic. A list of the apps that will be covered will be provided in advance for you to download. The presentation is primarily geared toward iPhone users; however, you can certainly participate if you own an Android phone. Pre-book online; see link below.

New Members’ Event

2.30pm Sunday 28 April
RTPS is a friendly photography club, welcoming new members of all abilities. We meet every Thursday evening in Kew where we enjoy a varied programme of talks from leading photographers. We also have a wide range of special interest groups which give members an opportunity to support one another. Pre-book online; see link below.

Curated Tours
Join us on a curated tour of our photography exhibition and gain a deeper appreciation of the art of photography from two top photography judges

Talk – Learn from a Master

Gain an insight into what makes a powerful and thought-provoking photograph with RTPS member Simon Street, who holds an unprecedented 10 Fellowships with the Royal Photographic Society, their highest distinction. Pre-book online; see link below.

All the above events take place inside the Richmond & Twickenham Photographic Society’s Exhibition at the Landmark Arts Centre in Ferry Road, Teddington TW11 9NN. The events are free of charge but you will need to pay the £4 entry fee to the exhibition itself and this needs to be done in advance via the above links to secure your booking. Just show your booking confirmation at the door on the day. Several hundred photographs, across a range of genres, will be on display at the exhibition.
