The ancient art of paper cutting has been brought bang up to date on this course. You’ll be inspired by looking at a wide range of cut out artefacts including Polish paper cuts, Haitian metal work and wooden fret work as well as numerous art works, photos and resource sheets. You’ll master cutting safely using a scalpel and get to grips with creative free hand lettering to design your own unique paper cut.

Whether you already enjoy opera or this is your first experience of singing it, there will be something for everyone. The workshop will also include introductions to the operas, tales of life in the opera house and Q&As. We will provide music and words – in English – and you can sign up to receive an email with YouTube links so you can listen to the choruses ahead of time.
