The Landmark Art Centre’s Contemporary Textiles Fair makes a welcome return this Spring. With a reputation as a must-visit event on the textile lovers’ calendar, the fair is a weekend showcase of high-quality contemporary textile art running from 15 to 17 March 2024.

This year, the Landmark is collaborating with international non-profit arts organisation, ArtCan, with a pop-up of the ArtCan – Unravelled exhibition, featuring over 20 of ArtCan’s members’ work with fibre and textiles, curated by founders Catherine Sweet and Melanie Jordan.

Alongside the 50 stands of artists selling contemporary art, high end crafts, handmade clothing and designer knitwear, the three-day event will feature talks, classes and demonstrations, which will run throughout the weekend.

Landmark Visual Arts Curator, Abigail Thomas said: “The fair is back after going biennial in 2022, so we’re delighted it’s here again.  It promises to be a weekend celebration of high-end contemporary textiles in all forms and an opportunity for experts and enthusiasts to share their passion and know-how.  We’re thrilled to have partners ArtCan onboard too, bringing a new talent pool of inspirational artists to the event.”

Opening Night is Friday 15 March from 4pm – 8.30 pm. Admission is free with an invite or tickets can be bought on the door.  Weekend hours run from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday 16 March and Sunday 17 March. Admission £5, Concessions £4, Under 16s and LAC Friends are Free.  Tickets are valid for entrance over the whole weekend.  Full details and bookings https://www.landmarkartscentre.org/visual-arts/contemporary-textiles-fair-2024/
